(TAP) – A special mention was awarded by the Film Prize of the Robert Bosch Stiftung to the documentary film project “Streams” (Fouledh) directed by Mehdi Hmili and produced by Moufida Fedhila and Michel Balagué (Tunisian-German co-production).

The results were announced on Sunday, on the fringes of the 69th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival.

“The documentary managed to depict the human and political sensitiveness of four workers through a good virtual zoom, the choice of characters and their movements in the space as well as the mysterious atmosphere in the filming location in the workplace,” the jury revealed in their report.

Launched in 2013, the Film Prize for International Co-operation of the Robert Bosch Stiftung offers the possibility for young filmmakers from the Arab world (among 22 member countries of the Arab League) to achieve a joint project with a German partner. The prize aims to point out the importance of intercultural exchange.
