(TAP) - "We hope that Tunisia will receive the 6th tranche of the International Monetary Fund (IMF)’s loan, whose value is estimated at $ 250 million, in due time," said Finance Minister Ridha Chalghoum at a press conference Monday.

He pointed out that a delegation from the IMF is currently visiting Tunisia to discuss the 5th review under the Extended Credit Facility with Tunisia, specifying that the negotiations are proceeding as the previous negotiations.

In May 2016, the IMF concluded an agreement on the extended credit facility to grant Tunisia a loan disbursed over several tranches over a period of four years. Tunisia has so far received $ 1.4 billion out of a total of $ 2.9 billion.
