(TAP) - The Ministry of Defence has released photos of the camp of terrorists discovered on Monday in Mount Semmama (Kasserine), during the search operation conducted by military units. These photos show underground hideouts with small openings for ventilation, a cave between rocks and food leftover, blankets and medicines. Colonel Belhassen Oueslati, Spokesman for the Defense Ministry, told TAP "terrorists dig underground hideouts and fit out caves to shelter in them during sweep operations.” These hiding places are only visible up close, he noted. He added that terrorists often lay mines around their camps. Nine soldiers were wounded during a search operation Monday in Mount Semmama. |
